Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Road Rover iOS app (“Road Rover” or the “app”), published by Northbound House (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using Road Rover you agree to these Terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies to every app distributed through the App Store. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The App

Road Rover helps you track maintenance, store documents, run checklists, and log your travels for your RV. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your Data

Everything you enter in Road Rover, including maintenance records, documents, checklists, and stays, belongs to you. It is stored on your device and, when iCloud is enabled, in your personal iCloud account. Our Privacy Policy describes what we do and do not collect. You are responsible for keeping your device and iCloud account secure and for maintaining your own backups.

Free Features and Road Rover Premium

Road Rover’s core features are free. Some features, such as unlimited maintenance history, unlimited glovebox documents, and unlimited stays, require Road Rover Premium, which is available as an auto-renewing annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by region. Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account; we never see or store your payment details.

Auto-Renewing Subscription

The annual subscription renews automatically at the price shown in the app unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device Settings under your Apple Account, or through the Manage Subscription option in Road Rover. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Free Trial

When a free trial is offered, you can use Premium at no charge for the trial period shown in the app. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and your Apple Account is charged the annual price. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription or lifetime access.

Lifetime Access

Lifetime access is a one-time purchase that unlocks Premium for as long as Road Rover is available on the App Store, on every device signed in to the same Apple Account. It does not renew and is not a subscription.

Existing Customers

If you paid for Road Rover when it was sold as a paid app, before April 8, 2026, your purchase continues to include Premium at no additional cost. Road Rover determines this from your App Store purchase record, so Premium follows your Apple Account to new devices. If the app cannot verify your original purchase right away, it keeps Premium unlocked while it checks. If you believe you have been asked to pay again in error, use Restore Purchases in the app or contact us and we will make it right.

Refunds and Restoring Purchases

Because purchases are made through Apple, refunds are handled by Apple under its terms. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. To move a purchase to a new device, sign in with the same Apple Account and tap Restore Purchases in the app.

Reminders and Records Are Not Advice

Road Rover’s maintenance intervals, reminders, and stored specifications are based on the information you enter and on general defaults. They are a convenience, not a substitute for your vehicle manufacturer’s manual, a qualified technician, or your own judgment. Always confirm service requirements, dimensions, weights, and clearances yourself before relying on them.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, interfere with its operation, or use it to store content that you do not have the right to store. You must be at least 13 years old to use Road Rover.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Road Rover is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data synced through iCloud will always be available.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Northbound House will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, missed maintenance, vehicle damage, or other losses arising from your use of or inability to use Road Rover. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us for Road Rover in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
